It is a natural inclination to want to resist change. We spend our lives establishing routines which become habits; and these habits become our patterns of behavior.
Once these patterns are in place, ones that took hard work to establish and maintain over a course of time, it is hard to let go.

Your resistance to change is reduced or eliminated once you learn how to cultivate it instead.
